Increase Your Business Luck

It tremendously helps if you are a type of person who always seems to end up in a lucky situation.  However, a study conducted at the University of Hertsfordshire in England concluded that luck is not just about chances but on the decisions people choose. After days doing lengthy interviews and experiments, here are the common qualities researchers have found among people who are considered lucky.

Lucky people often encounter chance opportunities

Lucky people have a tendency to be more extroverted than their unlucky counterparts.  They love to visit friends, go to parties, and have a large network of contacts.

Lucky people have a different body language

The non-verbal communication of people considered to be lucky tends to draw others to them.  They engage in eye contact more often, are twice as likely to smile, and make open gestures like uncrossing their arms or turning to the people whom they are talking with.

Lucky people make good decisions without knowing it

Lucky people trust their guts when it comes to making decisions; and more often than not, these end up with better results.  They often have a keen sense of whether a decision is prudent or a person should not be trusted.

Lucky people have ambitions and goals that come true

These dreams that lucky people aspire tend to be met because their expectations are far higher than those who see themselves as unlucky, who see dreams as more of a fantasy.  They believe in themselves and their futures.

Lucky people can turn bad experiences into good fortune

They tend to find the silver lining to what happens to them and use these situations into learning experiences.  They tend to ponder that things can always be worse, often comparing themselves to others who have bad fortunes.  Meanwhile, people who are considered unlucky see their bad experiences as something destined, as if already written by the hands of fate.  Such thinking would lead to relying on ineffective ways to alter their poor fortune.
